The Center for Jewish Studies will host an Open House where information about the new minor in Jewish and Israel Studies, the Hebrew Program and our upcoming events and courses will be discussed. Student Academic Resources (SAR) is seeking to hire a student to join our team of Peer Technology Specialists. If you have an aptitude for learning using digital tools and technologies, an interest in helping others navigate a wide variety of digital tools, and the ability to demonstrate and train others on the use of various technology programs, we encourage you to apply! The student will be hired and trained to join our current Peer Technology Specialists to work throughout this academic year.

Math Jam is an additional resource for students taking introductory math classes that is intended to complement the Math Workshop, CA sessions, or a professor’s office hours.
Math Jam is located in the Vanguard Lounge of the Center for African American Studies Building (343 High Street). The sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8 – 9:30 pm.
At Math Jam, space is available for students to come on their own, or in a group, to work on homework sets, study for exams, and find new study partners. Experienced tutors are on-site, ready to answer questions and review concepts as they arise.

WesWorks is, a multi-site, celebratory, outdoor performance featuring the work, skills, and stories of Wesleyan’s Physical Plant, Custodial Operations, and Grounds Crew employees. Choreographed by Austin TX-based Forklift Danceworks, WesWorks connects students, staff, and faculty through a community-based dance-making process to cultivate awareness of and appreciation for the labor of our essential workers, improve relationships among employees and students, and encourage collective stewardship of our campus spaces.

This semester we are launching a Student Ombuds program at Wesleyan, which is an initiative inspired and informed by student voices.
The Student Ombuds are available to talk with students about your concerns related to experiences in the classroom, with your athletic team, or within other parts of your academic and campus life at Wesleyan. Each Ombud serves as a neutral and confidential peer resource focused on empowering students to successfully navigate the institution and advocate for yourselves in moments of conflict.
Here’s just a few of the ways Student Ombuds can offer support:
