IMPORTANT GRADUATION INFO!

IMPORTANT GRADUATION INFORMATION!

Hello Class of 2024!

Well, you’re almost there! 21 days to go. Please be sure to read over and understand the following about having your name read correctly at graduation, time and place for diploma pick up, photo opportunities, and other important information:

NAMECOACH. To be sure your name is properly pronounced at the graduation ceremony on May 26, we urge everyone to be sure to use “NameCoach,” so the commencement readers will pronounce your name correctly. See the email sent from me last week to use NameCoach. (Check your junkman if you didn’t get it.)

DIPLOMA PICK UP. You will be able to pick up your diploma on the first floor of North College on Friday, May 24 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (UPDATED): If students are unable to pickup their diplomas on Friday, there will be an additional opportunity to pick them up the following week from Tuesday through Friday, during business hours. Diplomas will be mailed in June. More information from the Registrar will be sent out about this later.

REGALIA. Rental regalia is still available on the RJ Julia website. Reserve a cap and gown rental here with a credit card. Rental questions should be directed to sburr@wesleyan.edu

PHOTOS with DIPLOMAS. When picking up your diploma, there will be an opportunity to have your photo taken by a professional photographer with your diploma. You are urged to bring your cap & gown with you when picking up your diploma, so you can have a picture taken with everything together. (Trust me, your parents want this one!)

POST GRADUATION CONTACT INFORMATION. Please take a moment to make sure your contact information “after graduation” is correct and update it as needed. You can do this in WesPortal. Be sure to provide your preferred email post-graduation, as nearly all alumni communications are electronic. Reminder: Wesleyan.edu email accounts will be deactivated after one year without login.
As always, please consult the Commencement Website for lots of information for you and your family about the weekend and commencement ceremonies. Click here to review! The “helpful Info” link has lots of great information.

Please consult the commencement webpage for answers to most questions. Short of that, feel free to reach out to me!

Best,

Dean Bisese
