2024 Senior Week Activities!

2024 Senior Class Officers and the Office of Student Involvement are excited to inform you of your upcoming Senior Week activities! Those in the Class of 2024 and December 2023 completions are eligible to participate. Tickets are required, and students may purchase them at the Usdan Box Office or Online. Students must show / list their WesID to purchase.

Students with the highest level of financial need (parent contribution of $7,000 or less) will be eligible for a discounted ticket. Please wait until you receive a separate email form us to learn how to obtain your senior week pass.

Purchase tickets early to receive a discounted price! When students purchase their ticket be sure to make your Senior Class Gift! Every year, thousands of Wes Alumni give back, and together sustain the Wes experience for future generations. Your $5 gift today will directly support current and future students, whether it’s through financial aid or other vital student services that support their success at Wes.

Ticket sales are as follows:
March 26 – April 1:    $30
April 2-May 6:        $40
May 7-23:            $50



Your ticket allows you access to the following:

May 21 – Fountain Backyard BBQ, FREE food, music, giant games, a Mechanical Bull extreme sports like Bungee Extreme!
May 22 – Grit & Wit Teamwork obstacle and games course and FREE access to food trucks. Winners will receive up to $500 in cash prizes!
May 23 – Senior Prom. Theme: Starry Night. Dress Code: Formal. Olin Library

The Senior Class Officers wish to thank the WSA for their assistance to subsidize the cost of Senior Week. The true cost of what is listed above is well over $150 per person!

Cap & Gown — Deadline Approaching

Commencement Sunday, May 26th…

Seniors, please note the following cap and gown ordering deadline.

Deadline: Wednesday, March 27 (no exceptions): The deadline to order Bachelor, Masters, and PHD gowns for bookstore pick-up in May. Avoid lines at the bookstore by purchasing your cap and gown on the Oak Hall website now.

Wesleyan Summer 2024 Grants



Wesleyan Summer Grants provide up to $5,000 to fund summer opportunities such as internships, faculty-mentored research, entrepreneurial ventures, volunteer work, field study, creative projects, or an academic program related to your career interests and aspirations.

The first 2024 application window is open from Thursday, February 1st until Thursday, March 28th. This window is only open for students on need-based financial aid.

The second 2024 application window will be open from Monday, April 1st until Friday, April 26th. This window will be open for all Wesleyan students.

To apply for the 2024 Wesleyan Summer Grant, you must have an approved resume on Handshake and a confirmed summer experience. If you don’t have a summer experience by the end of the first window, you are still eligible to apply in the second window. Applications not selected for funding in the first window will be considered in the second application window (you cannot reapply.)

Wesleyan Black Alumni Council Memorial Prize Summer Stipend
Important to note that this grant is part of the Wesleyan Summer Grants Program and NOT additional funds. If a student would like to be considered, they will select this grant on the application and upload their essay.

Essay: The Wesleyan Black Alumni Council (WBAC) honors the memory and spirit of alumni Bruce D. Hall ’77, James “Donnie” Rochester ’74, and Dwight L. Greene ’70 through a summer experience grant to support projects or research pertaining to the African American experience. Please share how your proposal aligns with this intention. (750 words maximum)

Senior Class Prom for the Class of 2024!

The Senior Class Officers are thrilled to announce a SENIOR PROM. Come experience the Senior Prom we never had!

When: Thursday, May 23, 2024

Where: Olin Memorial Library

What: The theme is Starry Night

Dress Code: Formal.

Graduation Announcements Available

My office now has hard copies of your Graduation Announcements (and envelopes) available for seniors to pick up. Feel free to swing by and see Joan Chiari in NORTH COLLEGE, Room 201 to grab some. Pick them up now, so you can address and send them over spring break!

(Limited to 10 for each student. In special cases, see Dean Bisese if you require more.)
